Why Did My Order Arrive in Separate Shipments?
Please note that some items in your order may be shipped from different locations or require additional processing time. This means your order may arrive in separate packages. Don't worry, we'll provide tracking information for each shipment so you can easily follow along with your order's journey.
What Shipping Service Do You Use? Can I Pay Extra for Faster Shipping?
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all shipments. At this time, we do not offer expedited shipping options.
What Does First Class Shipping Mean?
First Class Shipping refers to the weight class of your package and is a standard USPS shipping method.
- Orders under 16 ounces (1 pound) are automatically shipped via First Class Shipping.
- Note that this does not include the time it takes for us to process your order.
- First Class Shipping is not considered expedited.
What Does Priority Mail Shipping Mean?
Priority Mail refers to packages that weigh 16 ounces (1 pound) or more and is also a standard USPS shipping method.
- Orders over 16 ounces are shipped via Priority Mail.
- Note that this does not include the time it takes for us to process your order.
- Priority Mail is not considered expedited.
I Put the Wrong Shipping Address. Can I Change This?
If you entered an incorrect shipping address, please email us immediately at info@shopneardark.com with the updated address. We will do our best to make the change before your order ships.
If your package is sent to an invalid address and returned to us, we will contact you regarding reshipment.
Near Dark Is Not Responsible for Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for filing claims with carriers for damaged, lost, or stolen packages marked as delivered to the address provided during checkout.
If your package is marked as delivered but you haven’t received it, please contact your local post office for further assistance.
When Will My Order Arrive? Will I Be Able to Track It?
Delivery times vary and are not guaranteed. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
- Please allow 3-5 business days for order processing and shipping.
- During sales, processing times may extend to 7-10 business days.
If longer lead times are anticipated, they will be noted in the item description.
Why Is My Order Delayed?
Your order may be delayed for the following reasons:
- USPS shipping delays beyond our control.
- Incorrect or invalid shipping addresses. Please respond promptly to any address verification emails.
- Double orders requiring verification.
My Order Was Returned to Sender. What Happens Next?
If your package is returned to us due to an invalid address or other USPS issues, we will contact you to arrange reshipment.

My Tracking Says Delivered, but I Didn’t Receive My Order. What Can I Do?
If your tracking status says "delivered," but you haven't received your package, try the following:
- Check around your property for possible misplacement.
- Ask neighbors if they received it by mistake.
- Allow a few extra days in case USPS scanned it as delivered prematurely.
Near Dark is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that show delivery confirmation. Please contact your local post office for assistance.
I Received the Wrong Item or a Defective/Damaged Item. Can I Get a Replacement?
If you received the wrong item or an item that is defective or damaged, please email info@shopneardark.com for assistance.
- Domestic customers will receive a prepaid return label via email.
- Fill out the return/exchange form on the back of your packing slip, and let us know if you'd prefer a refund or replacement.
- International customers should email us for further instructions, as we are unable to provide prepaid return labels for international returns.
International Shipping FAQ
Do You Ship Internationally? How Long Will It Take?
Yes, we ship worldwide! However, there are some countries we do not ship to (see the list at the end of this FAQ).
- International delivery can take 2-8 weeks, plus 5-7 business days for processing.
- Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information.
How Much Does International Shipping Cost? Will I Pay Customs Fees?
Shipping costs vary by location and will be calculated at checkout. Please note that you are responsible for any customs fees, VAT, tariffs, or taxes required by your country.
Why Was My International Package Returned?
International packages may be returned for reasons such as non-payment of tariffs, incorrect addresses, or failure to pick up the package.
If your order is returned, you will be contacted to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping costs may apply.
